Getting started
How do I create my family account?+
Choose Start free trial, enter an email and password, and you are in. You get 14 days of full access with no card required. Then add your family members on the Family page and give everyone a color.
How do I invite the rest of my family?+
Each person can sign in on their own phone with the shared family account, or you can create individual logins. Everyone sees the same household calendar, tasks, and lists in real time.
Can I install it like an app?+
Yes. Family Harmony is a progressive web app. On iPhone use Share then Add to Home Screen, and on Android use the Install app option in the browser menu. It launches fullscreen like any native app.
The wall display
How do I set up the wall tablet?+
Sign in on any spare tablet, open display mode, and tap fullscreen. The display requests a screen wake lock so it stays on, and it updates live whenever anyone changes an event.
Does the screen dim at night?+
It switches from a light theme by day to a dark theme in the evening automatically. You can also turn on Sleep Mode in settings to blank the wall overnight.
What is the photo screensaver?+
When the display sits idle it drifts through the photos you add, and it resurfaces memories from this day in past years. You can upload photos directly or hand-pick them from Google Photos.
Calendar sync
Which calendars can I connect?+
Connect Google Calendar in one click, and add Apple iCloud, Outlook, Cozi, or Yahoo by their calendar link. Your existing events appear in Family Harmony automatically.
How often does it sync?+
You can sync on demand with the Sync now button, and connected calendars also refresh automatically in the background so the wall display stays current.
Is the sync read-only?+
Yes. Family Harmony reads your outside calendars so their events show up here. It does not change or delete anything in the original calendar.
Plans and billing
What does it cost?+
Start free for 14 days. Then own the Family Calendar for a one-time $29, and optionally add Premium AI for $5 a month for the smart features.
Is the $29 a subscription?+
No. The Family Calendar is a single one-time purchase with free updates for life. Only Premium AI is a subscription, and it is entirely optional.
How do I cancel Premium AI?+
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You keep the Family Calendar and all of its features after cancelling.
Privacy and security
Do you sell my data or show ads?+
Never. Family Harmony has no ads and no data selling. Your household is fully isolated from every other account, and your calendar is yours alone.
What is the parental PIN?+
A four-digit PIN locks the parent-only actions like managing members, feeds, and rewards. Kids can still check off their own tasks, but a parent verifies a task before its star counts.
Troubleshooting
The wall display went to sleep. What do I do?+
Most tablets have an auto-lock setting that can override the app. Set the tablet's screen timeout to never, keep it plugged in, and the built-in wake lock will keep the display awake.
I am not getting reminder notifications.+
Open the app on your phone, allow notifications when prompted, and make sure the app is installed to your home screen. Then check that reminders are turned on in settings.
